McLaren Racing has announced the addition of three promising drivers to its junior program: 2024 Formula 3 champion and 2025 Formula 2 winner Leonardo Fornaroli,Formula 2 driver Richard Verschoor, and 15-year-old Spanish karting talent Cristian Costa.
As part of the program,Fornaroli will have the opportunity to participate in tests with the Formula 1 team.
Leonardo commented: “It is a great honor for me to join the McLaren Racing driver development program. Winning in Formula 3 and Formula 2 has been an important step in my career, and I am now ready to take the next step toward the pinnacle of motorsport. I am very grateful to the team and everyone who has supported me along the way.”
