Mercedes Takes DHL Fastest Pit Stop Award

At the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, the fastest pit stop was recorded by the Mercedes team. The mechanics serviced George Russell’s car in just 2.17 seconds, marking the quickest pit lane operation of the race.

Over the course of the race, teams completed a total of 30 pit stops. The longest stop was that of Carlos Sainz on lap 45, during which the mechanics not only changed the tires but also fitted a new front wing, significantly increasing the car’s time in the pit lane.
