Mercedes to Pay Russell £30M a Year!

Mercedes Close to Finalizing Multi-Year Deal with George Russell

The Mercedes Formula1 team is reportedly close to signing a new multi-year contract with driver George Russell. According to the Daily Mail, the two parties have reached an agreement on the key terms of the deal over the past few weeks.

Under the new contract, Russell is expected to earn approximately £30 million per year, placing him on par with fellow top-tier drivers such as Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris in terms of salary.

The agreement is expected to be officially signed in the near future, pending final negotiations on off-track obligations. One of the remaining points concerns the number of sponsor-related appearances Russell is required to attend annually. According to the Daily Mail, the British driver is advocating for a reduction in those commitments.
