Monaco GP to Remain on F1 Calendar Until 2035

Formula 1 and the organizers of the Monaco Grand Prix have extended their contract until 2035. The legendary race through the streets of the principality, regarded as the crown jewel of the championship calendar, will remain a fixture for many years to come.

Formula 1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali stated: “The streets of Monaco have been part of Formula 1’s DNA since the very beginning of the championship. I am therefore delighted to announce that our agreement has been extended until 2035. This is an iconic event, cherished by both drivers and fans, with a unique atmosphere created by its location at the heart of the world’s most glamorous principality. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Prince Albert II, Automobile Club de Monaco President Michel Boeri, and all those who have contributed to securing the long-term future of this historic partnership.”

Prince Albert II also emphasized the importance of the decision: “Extending the contract for the Monaco Grand Prix until 2035 is in keeping with our sporting and historical traditions, to which we remain deeply committed. This agreement reflects the success and strength of our cooperation with Formula 1, as well as the unique place Monaco holds in international motorsport.”
