Nico Muller Moves to Porsche

Nico Muller has signed a contract with Porsche and will join reigning champion Pascal Wehrlein as his teammate for Season 12 of Formula E.

The Swiss driver has been competing in the championship since 2023. Last season, he raced for Andretti, a team that partners with Porsche and uses its powertrains. Now, Müller will join the German manufacturer’s factory team, replacing Antonio Felix da Costa, who has moved to Jaguar.

Nico Müller: “I’m delighted to join Porsche Motorsport it’s a very special moment in my career. Last season was challenging, but it helped me grow stronger as a driver. I want to repay the team’s trust and, together with Pascal, deliver consistent and competitive results.”

Both drivers have already begun simulator work at Porsche Motorsport’s technical center in Weissach. The team’s current focus is on pre-season testing in Valencia, set to begin in two weeks, while also preparing for the introduction of the fourth-generation Formula E cars, which will debut in Season 13.
