Nicolas Todt:Big Shifts Ahead in the 2027 F1 Driver Market

Charles Leclerc’s manager, Nicolas Todt, shared his view that the upcoming changes in Formula 1 could lead to major shifts on the driver market. According to him, after the 2026 season, when the new technical regulations come into effect, the situation among drivers may change dramatically.

“Everyone is currently waiting to see what happens,” Todt noted. “Many drivers want to evaluate how competitive their teams will be with the new cars. Their future decisions whether to stay or move elsewhere will largely depend on that. I believe we will see a very active off-season after next year.”

Todt also spoke about his client: “Charles Leclerc is one of the most talented drivers of his generation, alongside Max Verstappen and a few others. He has been with Ferrari for many years, has gone through different stages with the team, and naturally dreams of finally having a car capable of fighting for victories and titles. We hope that 2026 will be a turning point for Ferrari and will bring the level of competitiveness that Charles truly deserves.”
