Bulgarian racer Nikola Tsolov will take the next big step in his career as he makes his FIA Formula 2 debut, joining the team for the closing two rounds of the season in Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
Following an impressive run through the junior ranks, Tsolov now graduates to Formula 2 the final stage before Formula 1 where he’ll get his first experience behind the wheel of one of motorsport’s most demanding cars. The 18-year-old is set to compete under the lights at Lusail before wrapping up his rookie outings at Yas Marina.
The team expressed confidence in Tsolov’s potential, praising his pace, composure, and ability to adapt quickly to new challenges.
“This is a huge step for me, and I’m really excited for what’s ahead,” said Tsolov. “Getting the chance to race in Qatar and Abu Dhabi is something special, and I’ll give everything to make the most of it.”
