Nikola Tsolov to Race for Campos in Formula 2

Nikola Tsolov, the recently crowned Formula 3 runner-up, is taking the next step in his career and will compete in Formula 2 for Campos Racing in the 2026 season, continuing his longstanding partnership with the team.

The 18-year-old Bulgarian driver, known by the nickname “The Bulgarian Lion,” is a member of the Red Bull junior programme. In the past season, he secured two race victories and achieved six podium finishes. The team also confirmed his participation in the official three-day Formula 2 post-season tests, scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi from 10 to 12 December.

Campos Racing Team Principal Adrian Campos Jr. expressed his pleasure in continuing the collaboration with Tsolov, highlighting his achievements in junior categories including a championship title in Spanish F4 and the runner-up finish in Formula 3. According to Campos, Nikola possesses the maturity and experience required for a successful debut in Formula 2.

Tsolov himself emphasized that the move to Formula 2 represents an important step toward his career ambitions and expressed confidence that working with Campos Racing will enable him to achieve strong results in the upcoming season.
