While Other Formula1 Drivers Settle Down,Lewis Hamilton Remains Focused on His Career
As many Formula1 drivers get married and start families, Lewis Hamilton has remained single for several years. In a candid interview with Belgian broadcaster RTBF, the Ferrari driver shared why he has chosen not to pursue a romantic relationship at this stage of his life.
Lewis Hamilton stated:
“I was in a relationship in my early twenties. But I eventually realized that I needed to make the most of my time in Formula1,as the window of opportunity is much shorter than it may seem. I don’t want to look back one day and regret not having given everything to the sport because I was focused elsewhere.
Over the past ten years, I’ve dedicated myself entirely to my profession, striving to extract every ounce of performance and potential from my career. When I eventually retire from racing, I’ll have the freedom to explore other aspects of life without any regrets.
For now, my full attention is on racing — on maintaining my physical and mental well-being, refining my driving, and being the best engineer and teammate I can possibly be.”
