Bearman Gets 10-Place Grid Penalty

Haas Driver Oliver Bearman Penalised for Red Flag Violation in Monaco

Haas driver Oliver Bearman has been handed a penalty for failing to comply with red flag regulations during the second free practice session of the Monaco Grand Prix. As a result, the young British driver will receive a 10-place grid penalty for the main race.

According to RaceBrief.com, Bearman overtook fellow competitor Carlos Sainz under red flag conditions — a clear breach of FIA regulations. In addition to the grid drop, Bearman has also received penalty points on his super licence. This marks his fourth penalty point in the last 12 months.

The FIA maintains strict oversight of red flag rules in an effort to enhance safety on track and routinely issues severe penalties for violations of these procedures.
