The Swiss outlet Blick reports that championship leader Oscar Piastri is considering leaving McLaren at the end of the 2026 season.
Although the Australian’s contract was recently extended, it reportedly includes a clause allowing for early termination. According to rumors, Ferrari could be a potential new destination for Piastri.
Meanwhile, Italian media suggest that Charles Leclerc is contemplating a move to another team in 2027, having grown frustrated with Ferrari’s ongoing technical issues. Adding further intrigue, Lewis Hamilton’s contract with Ferrari expires at the end of 2026 and if the team’s results do not improve, the Briton may choose to retire.
