P2 in Monaco:Hamilton Equals Senna’s Legendary Podium Record

Lewis Hamilton finished second at the Monaco Grand Prix, matching his best result of the season and drawing level with Ayrton Senna for the number of podium finishes achieved on the streets of the Principality. His Ferrari teammate, Charles Leclerc, failed to reach the finish after retiring from the race following a crash that he attributed to a brake system issue.

Speaking after the race, Hamilton congratulated Kimi Antonelli and Mercedes on another impressive victory, praising the young Italian for his outstanding performances. The seven-time world champion acknowledged that Ferrari has made significant progress in recent months but admitted that the team still lacks the pace to consistently challenge Mercedes.

Despite the gap to the front, Hamilton expressed satisfaction with his second-place finish, describing it as a strong result under the demanding circumstances of the Monaco weekend.
