Piastri Delighted with Dutch GP Victory

Piastri Wins, Norris Retires: A Contrasting Weekend for McLaren in Zandvoort

The Dutch Grand Prix proved to be a real test of resilience for the McLaren team. Oscar Piastri delivered an almost flawless weekend, taking pole position, controlling the race from the very first lap, and securing his seventh victory of the season. The Australian displayed maturity, confidence, and consistency, even under the pressure of multiple safety car periods and increasing threats from rivals.

“Of course, I’m very pleased with the result,” said Piastri. “The race wasn’t easy there were moments where it was important to stay calm and execute precisely, especially during the restarts when things got tense. But the team did an outstanding job, everything was under control, and I’m proud to have delivered this win. The weekend started off looking tricky, but we kept improving the car step by step. This is a team victory.”
