Pirelli Cancels Bahrain Wet Tire Tests

Pirelli has officially cancelled the previously scheduled wet-weather tire tests in Bahrain due to the recent escalation of conflict in the Middle East. Preparations for the tests were already complete: all drivers had arrived at the circuit, the cars were fully prepared, and the track irrigation systems were in place to simulate wet conditions. However, for safety reasons and to avoid putting participants and team personnel at risk, the decision was made at the last moment to call off the tests entirely. This cancellation comes amid heightened concerns over regional stability, underscoring the priority given to the safety and well-being of everyone involved in the event.
