Pourchaire Eyes Move to Formula E

Theo Pourchaire, the 2023 Formula 2 champion, has stated that his primary objective is to secure a seat in Formula E. The French driver is currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship with Peugeot; however, single-seater racing remains his main priority.

Pourchaire noted that he is satisfied with his current WEC program, but considers formula racing to be his strongest discipline. He highlighted his experience in Formula 3 and Formula 2, as well as appearances in IndyCar and Super Formula, emphasizing his readiness to take on a new challenge.

According to him, his interest in Formula E is also driven by its status as a world championship and its advanced level of technology, particularly the new-generation cars. The Frenchman believes the series has reached a very high standard and is now approaching Formula 1 in terms of performance and speed, and he hopes to be given the opportunity to prove himself.
