The reigning FIA Formula 3 Championship champion, Rafael Camara, completed his first-ever test behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car. Ferrari gave the Brazilian driver and Dino Beganovic the opportunity to run at the Hungaroring as part of the team’s TPC programme for previous-generation cars.
For Camara, the outing marked his first full Formula 1 testing experience, with Ferrari already considering the young driver for potential Friday practice appearances later this season. Beganovic, who is also a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy, already has experience in official Formula 1 sessions and is familiar with Ferrari machinery.
