According to RaceBrief.com, George Russell was officially reported to the FIA by Red Bull following the race in Canada.
Red Bull stated that the British driver failed to operate his car in compliance with the rules while behind the safety car. Both Max Verstappen and George Russell were summoned to the stewards and gave their statements, with the hearing lasting approximately 45 minutes.
