Russell:Back on the podium!

George Russell finished the Hungarian Grand Prix in third place after an intense on-track battle with Charles Leclerc. The Ferrari driver received a five-second penalty for making dangerous moves under braking in front of Russell.

Kimi Antonelli continued Mercedes' strong form by finishing tenth, scoring a single point his first since his podium finish in Canada.

George Russell (3rd place): "I’m truly pleased with today’s race.Qualifying brought a number of surprises, and overall, the weekend turned out to be quite unpredictable. I’m very happy to be back on the podium.

The fight with Charles was intense. When you’re diving into a corner and the driver ahead suddenly moves across, there’s barely any room left to react. I believe there was contact between our cars during the second attempt. Fortunately, I managed to get the overtake done.

It’s a strong result going into the summer break — definitely better than in the last few races.”
