Sky-Blue Surprise:F1 Fan Wins McLaren Artura Spider
Formula 1 Fan Wins £250,000 McLaren Supercar with £10 Lottery Ticket
62-year-old Rebecca Francis from Ascot, a long-time Formula 1 enthusiast and devoted supporter of McLaren driver Lando Norris, entered a charity lottery for the first time in her life and won a McLaren Artura Spider worth approximately £250,000. The story was reported by The London Standard.
Having purchased a ticket for just £10, she became the owner of a sky-blue supercar. “I felt like I experienced what Lando feels. It still feels like a dream!” said Rebecca, who recently became a grandmother for the second time and lives just 30 minutes from McLaren's headquarters.
At the prize handover event, professional stunt driver and drift specialist Tessa Whittock performed a demonstration showcasing the car's capabilities. “I’ve never felt anything like this before I felt like a McLaren driver myself!” Rebecca added.
Despite her excitement, she plans to sell the vehicle, explaining that her family needs the money more than a luxury car.
