Stenshorne Signs with Rodin Motorsport
Rodin Motorsport has officially announced its first driver for the 2026 Formula 2 season. The team will be joined by 19-year-old Norwegian Martinius Stenshorne, a member of the McLaren Young Driver Programme.
In the past Formula 3 season, Stenshorne established himself as one of the most consistent and promising drivers. He claimed two victories, achieved five podium finishes, and secured fifth place in the drivers’ standings. In addition, in 2025 Martinius had the opportunity to make his Formula 2 debut with Trident during the Baku round an important experience for the young driver, despite not finishing either race.
Following the signing with Rodin Motorsport, Stenshorne underlined the significance of this step in his career: “Moving up to Formula 2 is a huge step forward for me. I am sincerely grateful to the team for their trust and support. I am eagerly looking forward to the post-season tests in Abu Dhabi and will give my absolute best on track next year.”
With this announcement, Rodin Motorsport has placed its first bet on a young and ambitious talent, while Stenshorne has secured the opportunity to continue his career development in one of the key junior championships a direct pathway to Formula 1.
