Strange Night Raid at Alpine
French police are investigating a mysterious incident at Alpine’s engine facility in Viry-Chatillon, where unidentified intruders broke in but stole nothing. Two perpetrators allegedly smashed a lobby window during the night and proceeded directly toward the executive offices on the upper floor. Several doors were forced open, suggesting the intruders were well-acquainted with the layout of the facility. Upon inspection, police found no damage and confirmed that nothing was missing.
A Le Parisien source stated: “Nothing was taken, everything is intact. No staff members were present at the time of the break-in.”
Forensic experts collected evidence at the scene and are now trying to determine what the intruders were looking for. Since theft has been ruled out, investigators are considering alternative motives including industrial espionage.
