TGR Becomes Title Partner of Haas F1 for 2026

In 2026, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR) will become the title partner of the Haas F1 Team, which will compete under the name TGR Haas F1 Team.

Toyota has extensive motorsport experience, participating in various series through its TGR division, including WRC and FIA WEC. This year, the collaboration focused on testing Japanese drivers in last year’s Haas cars (TPC); in 2026, the program will continue under the name “TGR Haas Driver Development Program.”

Aio Komatsu, Team Principal of Haas: “It is an honor for us to expand our partnership with TGR. Our joint work on testing and staff development has proven highly effective. We are excited to continue growing the project, including installing a simulator at our Banbury facility and advancing the program for young driver development.”

Akio Toyoda, President of Toyota Motor Corporation: “In 2025, TGR’s young drivers and engineers demonstrated remarkable potential and set ambitious goals. I would like to thank Gene Haas and Aio Komatsu for supporting this new generation. It is now time for these young talents to take their first steps on the world stage with TGR Haas F1.”
