Williams Breaches F1 Curfew

On the night from Thursday to Friday, the Williams team recorded a breach of the established curfew regulations under the Formula 1 Sporting Regulations.

The case concerns team personnel whose duties are directly related to the servicing and preparation of the car. During the specified period, they were present at the circuit despite the applicable restrictions. The prohibited time window ran from 18:00 on 30 April to 08:00 on 1 May, during which any work on the car is strictly regulated and permitted only under exceptional circumstances.

It should be noted that such violations are monitored strictly by the FIA; however, the regulations allow a limited number of individual exemptions for each team over the course of the season. For Williams, this incident represents the first of five permitted cases that may be used without incurring any penalties.

Therefore, despite the recorded breach, the team will not face any sporting sanctions. However, further exceedances of the allowed limit may result in disciplinary action from the governing body.
