Woman at Center of Horner Controversy Back in F1

A former Red Bull Racing employee, who previously accused Christian Horner of “inappropriate behavior” and became the focus of a major scandal in the winter of 2024, has returned to work in Formula 1, according to BBC Sport.

Her identity and current role have not been disclosed, with both the individual and her new employers declining to comment. What is known is that she was suspended from her duties at Red Bull in March of last year.

In July, following the British Grand Prix, Red Bull unexpectedly announced the end of its partnership with Horner, who had led the team for almost two decades. While the company did not publicly state the reasons, it is widely believed the decision was influenced by a decline in on-track performance, uncertainty over Max Verstappen’s future amid strong interest from rival teams, and growing internal tensions within the Red Bull hierarchy.

It was only after Horner’s departure that the four-time world champion confirmed his intention to remain with the team beyond 2026. Meanwhile, BBC reports that negotiations between Horner and Red Bull regarding the formal termination of his contract remain ongoing. Neither side has issued a comment on the matter.
